Classes for kids 4+

The ballet classes in our Raffaelle School of Arts methodology is based on knowledge of choreography, Physical Therapy and Child Psychology. Thus the main task is to pay special attention to the child's health, strengthen posture, endurance, coordination, plasticity and grace.

Classes

Ballet (Vaganova Method)
Every girl loves to dance like a princess and dreams of a beautiful fairy tale. Ballet lessons at our school help dreams come true, acquire a beautiful posture, grace and flexibility.
4–7 y.o.

Contemporary
Dance is based on modern, jazz, and lyrical ballet techniques, helping children develop coordination, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. Classes encourage creativity, musicality, and confidence in a supportive and safe environment. Open to boys and girls.
6–12 y.o.
Thu – 4:00pm (45 min)

Art
Drawing lessons for those who love creativity and fantasy. In our school, the child learns to convey the shapes, proportions, colors and shadows of the object. Through art, we help children express themselves and reflect their thoughts in the fine arts.
4–7 y.o.

Musical Theatre
Lessons are based on the study of acting, speech and voice of children, as well as dance plasticity and stage movement. Thanks to this complex, children are liberated, regain their confidence and make new friends.

Singing
Vocal exercises have a positive influence not only on children’s emotional health but also on physical health, and that is scientifically proven! It is well known, that singing helps to develop an ear for music and the sense of rhythm, but beyond that it greatly contributes to the memory betterment, ability to improvise, articulation and it normalises breath, which helps a great deal with respiratory diseases.

Cooking
Cooking lessons are exciting and tasty activities where children learn how to cook different dishes, learn the basics of cooking and get a lot of positive emotions. Each lesson is a new dish: pancakes, salads, sandwiches, pastries, decoration of festive dishes and much more. Cooking is safe and sterile, and all products are already included in the cost of the lesson!

Needlework
In this class, we learn how to create magic items. Awesome tutorials for anyone who loves creativity, sewing, and crafting. A unique opportunity to develop fine motor skills through handicrafts.

Teachers

Angelica Shpilkova
The head and school's leading choreographer is Angelica Shpilkova, a teacher with higher choreographic education and more than 15 years of experience working with children and adults. Her goal is to create a ballet school where every girl's dream can come true, and so that ballet is a beautiful fairy tale for her!

Olga Atkins
A fan of drawing in different techniques and styles. Always looking for new ideas. I respect discipline, but combine a love of academic drawing and develop attentiveness through drawing.

Svetlana Krasilnikova
A famous singer whose talent is popular in several countries around the world. She is musically educated and has a deep love for creativity.

Sofia Sazhina
Sofia is a professional dancer with extensive experience teaching children in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Also, Sofia is currently dancing competitively with Rangitoto College at competitions like NDC and Dance NZ Made.
